....Me. Who else?

I just got back from Manchester to see Björk in concert, which was an AMAZING show. She can defiantly put on one hellova performance, her voice was astounding, the music was top notch, the costumes were crazy and of course, the best part, LASERS.
My friends and I were pretty close to the front too, which was a bonus!

The only annoying factor was some ignorant people would pretend to act as though they were making their way through the crowd to get to their "friend right at the front" to get a better view, barging through the crowd no matter how jam packed it was. I mean since, ya know, the rest of us had only been standing there for THREE HOURS. (I shall forget the fact that Björk did not hang around to say hello/thanks to her fans waiting in the wet outdoors too.)

But yesh, awesome performance indeed!

My sister and I stayed over night to save travelling hassle, so we managed to get a touristy day out in Manchester. Viewing a Manga exhibition (Very cute layout indeed) at the Urbis Mueseum and toddling another art gallery, I forget the name, for more artyness.
I was also not aware that Manchester had it's own Chinatown, surrounded by delish restaurants and cute little shops, with a cool arch way to go along with the theme.

It was tiring to get around it all (I blame backpacks), but we managed it until the train ride home. tired as hell right now, but totally worth it.

I just realised the last time I was in Manchester was to see KoRn Live in 2001, good times!

I plan to SLEEP and ANIMATE tomorrow (emphasis on the sleep), as the deadline for projects draws near. I had a revamp of the finale for my animation, so it involves me re-drawing a few frames here and there. Good point is, I know what I'm doing, what to do and how to do it - it just needs to be done XD

I have been informed recently that there are a few competitions running that I might enter, although I might be giving myself more work than I should be doing. One is for a Doritos advert where you can win mucho' money and your ad played on tv, the other is a character design competition. So, we'll see how the work load goes, at this point I'm up for all the publicity and creativity grabs I can grab hold of.

FINALLY... Trades/commissions shall be done in the fullness of time. Patience peeps, patience. I swear it'll be worth the wait!
